My theory is that the piece of manila folder put just enough pressure on the internal components so that I did not have to manually do it.ДISCLAIMER: This is just my fix. I pre-cut a piece of manila folder about one square inch, and layed it inside the back bottom right, and put the back glass back on. I unscrewed the bottom two screws and removed the back glass. The sound and everything comes through fine, but the mic wont work. I then tried to go to the settings to make sure the headset was assigned to me and there was no option to assign the headset.

Putting pressure back on, they can hear me. So I went to the dashboard to test my mic using skype, but after the update I was unable to find the option to test the mic through skype. Sure enough, not one could hear me unless I pressed the right bottom of the ihone 4. While testing (facing the back glass), I made calls and put pressure on the left and right sides of the bottom of the iPhone 4.

My mic and my desktop audio work fine, but I need to be able to stream my Skype audio as well as it plays through a different playback output. In/Out calls work for a few seconds, then callers can't hear me all of a sudden.ДЄll other applications that use the iPhone microphone work, yet phone app on does not. Perhaps thats why it isnt working then, Im using a playback device Im not trying to use any recording type of thing for this, I want the voices of my friends to sound over Skype. SYMPTOMS (With Microphone, Ear Buds, or Bluetooth): I scoured the Internet for a fix, and I've found a few hints that narrowed my problem down.
